由於上週五(7/15)於土耳其發生的狀況,基於安全考量，國際網球總會(ITF)發函通知已取消即將於土耳其舉行的職業賽事,請選手務必仔細詳讀。
“Dear Player,
Following last Friday’s incidents and continued unrest in Turkey, the ITF has been in consultation with its security advisors concerning the upcoming ITF Pro Circuits tournaments. Our security advisors have thoroughly analysed the situation and given us advice which we must take seriously.
The safety of players and officials is our No. 1 priority at all times. We are therefore writing to inform you that, based on the advice received, all ITF Pro Circuit tournaments in Turkey up to and including the week of 5 September 2016 have been cancelled.
We understand this will cause some inconvenience but it is your safety that we have put first.
Players will automatically be withdrawn from all cancelled tournaments and will not get late withdrawal penalties if the withdrawal deadline has already passed. Players who were entered in tournaments in Turkey in the weeks of 25 July, 1 August and 8 August are permitted to sign in on site or receive wild cards at other tournaments during these weeks.
Players will be free to enter tournaments in the usual way from the week beginning 15th August.
